terms and conditions
entry process
to be eligible to enter the wagamama employee dj competition you must be a resident in the united kingdom
this competition is only open to current employees of wagamama ltd in the uk (“wagamama”), wagamama reserves the right to verify the legitimacy of entrants
how to enter:
1. prepare your mix in mp3 format and name your mix with your employee id number
2. click on the ‘mix | play | party’ image to enter and complete the form
3. join mixcloud and upload your mix, naming it with your employee id again
4. if accepted your mix will be added to the site within 24 hours
submissions must include a minimum of 8 tracks and be a maximum of one hour long showcasing your musical taste and your technical ability
full track listings must be submitted with the names of artists and tracks used
limit one entry per person
6 finalists will be selected to win the stated prize
entries must be submitted before 11:59pm on sunday 24 july 2011
winners will be chosen on the compatibility of their mix with the summer sundae festival style of music
wagamama reserves the right to disqualify any person in the event that wagamama reasonably considers that they have interfered with, or attempted to interfere with, the fair running of any aspect of this promotion
wagamama reserves the right to take down any uploads from the website at any time
no responsibility can be accepted for entries lost or delayed in transmission whether by email or otherwise
by entering this promotion, you agree to be bound by the above terms and conditions
persons who do not comply with these terms and conditions may, at wagamama’s discretion, be disqualified
the prizes
the 6 finalists will receive
1. one pair of sennheiser hd25-1-II headphones (unless winner has already received through parklife dj competition)
2. two summer sundae weekender tickets
3. travel expenses (for both persons) to and from the festival
4. a one hour dj set in the wagamama lounge at summer sundae (finalists will be dj’ing on a denon dn-mc6000 mixer, using cdj’s)
5. accommodation during the festival – camping at summer sundae or alternative hotel accommodation in leicester
the overall winner will receive
1. a denon dn-mc6000 mixer
the 6 finalists will be chosen by panel of judges which include wagamama employees and music experts. entrants will be judged on factors including (but not limited to) positive feedback, tune selection, originality, technical ability and overall positive reflection of wagamama and the wagamama lounge
wagamama has the right to change the time allocated for the dj to play at the festival
after summer sundae, all finalists will be invited to compete to win a denon dn-mc6000 mixer. competition details to be finalised by wagamama
the 6 finalists will be announced before friday 29 july 2011
finalists will be notified immediately by email and be required to send additional information necessary to complete the transfer of all components of the prize to the winner
applicants will only be contacted if they are chosen to be a finalist and play at the festival, unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted
competition finalists do not retain the right to choose which festival they play at
the prize will not be transferable to another person
prizes cannot be exchanged for another prize or cash
wagamama reserves the right to issue an alternative prize in the event that the relevant prize is unavailable
any prize notification that is returned as undeliverable may result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner, at wagamama’s sole discretion
wagamama also reserves the right to substitute the dj in the event that it becomes necessary to do so
all djs are required to arrive at the wagamama lounge one hour before their starting time
in the event of any dispute regarding the roles, conduct or the results of any aspect of this competition, the decisions of wagamama shall be final
the winners will be expected to agree to the terms & conditions governing the competition and refusal will allow wagamama to choose an alternative
incomplete or invalid entries or those not received by the closing date will not be eligible for, or count towards any aspect of, the promotion
by agreeing to these terms & conditions, you are agreeing that wagamama can contact you by email or phone
you will be asked to provide biographical information about yourself and your contact details for publication on the website
this may include your name, age, county of residence, biography and commentary on the mix
if you do provide biographical information and contact details you warrant that they are accurate and complete and give your express permission that they may be posted by wagamama on the website for a reasonable period of time determined by wagamama
wagamama shall be entitled to edit your biographical information and contact details
wagamama reserves the right to publish the name and county of address of the winners of any prizes under this promotion on the wagamamalounge.com website after the closing date
winners may be requested to appear in publicity photos and/or other promotional activities
wagamama reserves the right to increase or decrease amount of djs they choose to play in wagamama lounge at summer sundae weekender
general
wagamama will not be liable for any disruption to this promotion, whether due to technical problems or otherwise, which is beyond the reasonable control of wagamama
wagamama, acting reasonably, reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of the competition at any time without prior notice. any changes will be posted within the rules on the site
there is no purchase required to enter the promotion
the competition and the terms & conditions of this agreement will be governed by english law
